Update january 2019 - Added the "Tower viewed from the top" background. I had the pic, but forgot to put it in this page.   :-(
Update december 2018 - New Background A-1 found on an auction website. (sold for 4'800$)  The first sequence of the scene ?

Update april 2017 - with 4 differents animation cells close to each other, I decided to make an animated .gif... Have a look at it !

Update june 2013 - I found an article on the web about DL anniversary with a new never seen background of scene 503.

You tought You've seen all that was drawn for Dragon's Lair don't You ?

After the Limited Edition Laserdisc and the lost footage, after all the bonuses around the 20th and 25th birthday of DL, nothing new could be found ever !
Then, one day, I found on the internet a cell from a never seen before scene of Dragon's Lair.

It was for sale on Ebay and the price went to high for Me. I remember talking about it on the DLP and I was told that this was just a single drawing made for a test.
For sure It wasn't coming from an animation sequence !

The one day, I decided I'll look for this scene by asking directly the Bluth group. After some e-mails and some searches, Someone was able to find another cell of this scene.
Interesting. Another cell ? So what about the single drawing test ?

If they were 2 cells, why not 3 or 4 or 100 ? 

I finally was able to find some other pics of cells from this "never made" scene.

I think there are enough drawings and background to reasonably think the scene was completed and animated.

I hope you'll enjoy discovering this never seen scene #503 !
